Governance for a World-Class Centre of Excellence in Personalised Healthcare

Governance

The overarching objective of the P4Health project is to establish a Centre of Excellence of internationally recognised standing, distinguished by its research and innovation (R&I) excellence in the field of personalised and precision healthcare.

To achieve this, the project is designed to progressively build and consolidate the scientific, organisational, and infrastructural foundations required for a world-class research institution.

Governance Framework and Organisational Structure

As of September 2025, the P4Health Centre of Excellence operates as an independent department within Łukasiewicz – PORT Polish Center for Technology Development. This status provides a flexible and responsive governance framework, supporting strategic planning, efficient resource management, and the effective delivery of complex research and innovation (R&I) initiatives.

The governance framework of the CoE consists of two key bodies:

Operational Committee (OC) – responsible for the day-to-day management and implementation of P4Health activities.

Managing Committee (MC) – serving as the supervisory and strategic decision-making body.
