PORT for Health conferences
PORT for Health is a conference series organized since 2021 at the Łukasiewicz – PORT. It brings together experts through conferences to discuss health innovation.
The conference brings together researchers, clinicians and industry representatives to discuss key advances in life sciences and translational medicine. Each year, the event focuses on a major biomedical challenge, alternating between neuroscience and oncology.
Key topics of the conference
Neuroscience, one of the research pillars of the P4Heath Center, addresses molecular mechanisms of central nervous system disorders, including:
- depression,
- schizophrenia,
- eating disorders,
- neuromuscular diseases
- and neurodegeneration.
Oncology-focused editions explore cancer biology, disease mechanisms and innovations in targeted therapies. Across both themes, the conference emphasizes mechanistic insight, advanced experimental models, and translation of research into clinical applications.
